WELLMECS OY — AGILE MOMENTUM
WellMecs Oy was founded in 2024 by acquiring the business of Tepa-Mec Oy. Tepa-Mec had nearly 30 years of experience in the design, manufacture, and sales of electromechanical power transmission systems such as winches.
Now we combine this traditional expertise with renewal — reflected in the change of name and a modern strategic direction.

BACKGROUND AND HISTORY
Tepa-Mec Oy was founded in 1992 in Turku by Pekka Pavén and Paavo Tevaluota. Originally the company's core business focused on the trade of electric motors and aggregates, but soon, through its own product development, the range expanded to include winches, drilling devices, and torque tools.

OPERATIONS AND PRODUCT RANGE
Tepa-Mec specialized in drill-rig-powered TEPA winches, used for cable pulling, cable pushing, and mast work. Their advantage is a light and portable construction that provides significant pulling and lifting power in demanding environments.
Versatility: TEPA winches can be equipped for rope or wire-rope operation, and also as pushing winches. The main users are electrical contractors and telecom network builders.
The product range also includes drilling machines, pulling ropes, and various cable reels, as well as drilling devices and valve torque tools for HVAC work.

SUMMARY
WellMecs Oy was founded in 2024 to continue the nearly three-decade legacy of Tepa-Mec Oy. Tepa-Mec's high-quality winch products, flexible subcontracting network, and customer-driven approach create a strong foundation for our operations. Our strategy is to establish our position as an innovative supplier of cable pulling and pushing winches and cable reels in Finland and to increase our visibility in the Nordic countries and Europe.
In 2025–2026 we will introduce new, light, and smart winch models, with the goal of significant revenue growth leveraging transferred customer relationships, experience, and the quality brand. Our vision combines high quality, innovative technology solutions, and responsibility on the path toward a position as a significant domestic and international player.
